We just got back from the cruise yesterday and it was so great!! Can't believe how fast it went. Our first day we just hung out on the boat in LA waiting to set sail to San Diego! We ate, and ate, and ate! and laid by the pool a bit, and then ate some more!!! The food was the best part, heh. We had some crazy spring breakers on our cruise which made it very interesting. OH, and they were from Arizona going to ASU, we were so ashamed heh, they were very crazy and very drunk.
In San Diego we were going to walk to Old town but decided against that long walk so we just went to SeaPort village. We weren't out and about in San Diego to long because we'll be returning there for our Anniversary! I love San Diego though and was glad to visit it again so shortly after our wedding!
Our next stop was Catalina. I'd never been there before but have heard a lot about it and had wanted to go there for many years so I was excited about this stop. We rented bikes and rode around, mainly staying on flat areas because I'm a wuss. We started biking up to the Botanical Gardens but I was so tired that we turned around hahaha. We still got some good exercise out of it though, which we desperately need!! So besides biking, we walked around the cute little shopping area for a bit, ate lunch, went to the arcade, and biked a little more before heading back to the boat. I really liked Catalina, it's a great little beach town!
Our Third and Final stop was Ensenada Mexico! We signed up for the La Bufadora 3 hour tour. We were very glad we did that because it was a fun area to visit. The blow hole was pretty great, and the shopping even better heh. I got a fake Gucci purse and some fake chanel sun glasses. I love fake designer things!! The people there spoke great english which was too bad cause they get pushy and you can't act like you don't understand them hehe. But it was great to practice my bargaining skills! After the tour we just went back to the boat to eat lunch. We did not trust any food in mexico. Our tour guide was telling us of places she's ate that gave her food posioning so we decided to skip out on that.
Most everyday we went back to the boat about 2ish so we had lots of time to kill. We would of course EAT and then sometimes nap or lay out. The weather was always good, but the last 2 days the wind was cold! so we layed out by the pool under our towels ;) We went to some shows, some were a little cheesy but still entertaining. The guy that sang the "happy days' theme song performed, so that was pretty neat. We wanted to play bingo but each sheet cost $35 so we decided against that; we went to the casino a couple times and did some slot machines which are always fun, and hit up Karaoke night-there's nothing like seeing AND hearing drunk people sing! I was surprised how much I felt the boat move! I had to get some Bonne just in case. We never really felt sick but it's diffinitely a weird feeling. We are still feeling like we're on water! It's really weird, I hope it goes away soon! There was a couple who sat with us at Dinner that had just got married. They were about our age and from Logan Utah going to USU! What are the chances! That was pretty weird. They were a really nice and cute couple, but no lasting friendships were created hehe. Well I have lots of pictures to post. Cameron was getting pretty upset at me because I took so many but it's worth it! :) We leave California tomorrow, so hopefully by tomorrow night I'll have them up! After we got off the ship we went to Chelsea and Dustin's and then meet up with Chris and Stacy at the WIZARDWORLD CONVENTION in LA!! I got some great pictures and videos of that interesting event! That will also be posted soon!
