Day 6: La Push Beach (some Twilight stuff)

Sunday we went to La Push. We decided to take advantage of my Dad's day off and go then. Forks is about 1 hr away and La Push 1 1/2 but since they are one lane roads and this is a huge retirement state it of course takes longer. We didn't go into Forks really because there is truely nothing to take pictures of. I guess they give Twilight tours there now, to the hospital, and houses that could be Bella's and the Cullen's, but since they didn't film the movie there, it's all kinda silly and pointless I think. I think in Twilight it mainly talks about 1st beach in La Push. We went to 3rd beach and then stopped at first beach real quick. Here's pictures of 1st beach. It was the only beach that was overcast.

So we hiked to 3rd beach which was 1.3 miles to the beach through forest. It's so neat. I think everyone should hike either 2nd or 3rd beach. It's so beautiful. Last summer we did 2nd beach which was a lot more intense hiking. I liked second beach a little more but 3rd beach is still so pretty. It's really neat because you're in the forest and then suddenly you can see the beach through the trees. Here are pictures of the hike and 3rd beach!
