Today for my photography class we went on a field trip to
Mr. Lee's Rock Garden. Basically this man didn't want to bother with taking care of a yard so decided to build little arches and such with rocks instead. So the whole area has tons of rocks from all over and "bells, vases, plastic toys, seashells, golf balls, licenses plates, empty beer bottles, piggy banks, hubcaps, sports trophies, theater masks, fragments of dinnerware, and a picture frame made from a toilet seat." It was pretty neat! Of course on the way there I got lost. Luckily Delysse was with me, although she wasn't any help. :) We both have no sense of direction. Our tomtom decided not to work and the mapquest instructions weren't correct, so we drove for an hour and a half looking!!! Turns out we drove by the street like three times, go figure!!! So we made it there an hour late, but still got our project done! Here are some photos of the place.

The project was on Depth of Field and unfortunetly I didn't have a tripod otherwise the effect would be more dramatic, but basically it's the blurring of the background.

Love it! How fun to take a photography class! That was also sweet to see and read about your Utah trip! It was good to see your pics of friends from the high school years. Tell them all hi for me!
Sounds like a very interesting place. Your pictures turned out great!
There is a place here in Calif. similar to that. It was featured on KCET one time. It's called NUT WIT RIDGE in Cambra.
I'm jealous, I wanna take a photography class! What a neat place to take pictures at, which are very nice by the way.
