It's finally that time of year!

Yesterday we finally got to go to the Renaissance Festival. I've been so excited to go! For us these things are all about the food. So we of course got the big 'ol turkey leg (which we couldn't even finish sharing), an Italian icie, and a funnel cake! Oh so good!! The shopping there isn't really our style so we just go from show to show. They have SO many shows!! This year the Medieval Babes performed. Never heard of them?...us either, they're from London. We saw, and have a video, of one of the performers duct taping fireworks to himself and setting them off then having the audience throw water balloons at him. Cameron was one of the many balloon throwers and was proud that he hit him in the face ;) This man also walked up a rope that was on fire...with a cute little umbrella. The one show that amazed me but made me gag was the sword swallower. It's pretty unreal! I was a little sceptical but there's no way it's fake. He also swallowed a long balloon. It was probably 4ft. I thought he was gonna put it in his throat like the swords but he actually swallowed it! Then popped it in his stomach and then burped lol. I was confused at first, didn't know someone could do that. That was a hard one to watch cause the balloon was a good inch or so thick! He also put a drill down his nose and hammered a nail down his nose too...then licked it off....he was a little weird. Anywho, you get a lot of weridos there. SO many people dress up and act like it's all real, with accents and everything. But it makes it all the more fun. It was a whooping 80 degrees too! I have an assignment due in my film class so I took that camera and then our little one. I got some pictures with the little one, but wished I'd brought my slr. Here are some of the pictures!

The castle in the top middle is what we want our future house to look like! ;) Cute, isn't it?

Fun!! And I'm so jealous about the 80 degress...so not fair! Park City was really fun, but that phone call was when we were in Wyoming....ya long story. When we were leaving park city we got on the wrong freeway without realizing it and got almost to Evanston Wyoming before we realized we'd been driving for 45 minutes in the wrong direction!! Good times.

Renaissance faires are the best. You know it is my drean to buy a castle. Cam looks just like Legolas with the bow; we're going to have to set-up a range at my parent's house.
