question...

Am I crazy for wanting to sew the baby bedding? I like the idea cause then I can design whatever bedding and room I want, but I don't know how long the project might take. Plus I'm having a really hard time deciding on fabric. Love the birds by Alexander Henry, called Starling Natural.

They look good together, right?

Don't know what to choose for inside bumper. I can still stick to the red theme like my Ikea example. Still like those fabrics too...
Like this one from Target too though
hmmm, I'm no good at decisons.

(sorry this blog has become all about the baby. Wish I could say it won't last forever, but honestly, it'll just get worse =)

*UPDATED: I'm gonna sew my own*

If you can sew it I say more power to you!! I can't sew so that was never an option for me, but if you have the time go for it!

That's so funny that you mention this because I was just talking to Tyler last night about wanting to do the same thing! My only problem is I need to learn to sew first!

You're so ambitious! And no you're not crazy. I sewed all of Keizya's bedding and did a lot of her decorations in her room to match. The bedding took me somewhere around 10-12 hours total, I think. It was my first quilt ever so it took me a little longer than normal. I just kind of made it up as I went, but I was happy with the results. I was having the same problem with choosing fabrics....but then I saw it! It was kind of like picking a wedding dress, it just jumped out at me and I knew that was the fabric! Did you ever get your sewing machine? Good luck, you'll have to keep us updated on the creation!
