Parents in Town
When Izzy was 12 days old my parents came to visit. It was great seeing them, since they live so far. They couldn't stay long though because they had to head to my sisters reception - guess it's a good enough excuse ;) They came to visit at a great time because Cameron was going back to work that week. Their first day they got in later so they brought Thai over and we just hung out. Then Monday Isabel had her first big outing. We walked around the mall which she slept through the whole thing (hasn't done that since) and then when Cameron got home we all went to the Claim Jumper. Izzy did really well! She just wanted to eat and sleep. The next day my parents stop by to say goodbye. Was a really quick trip but was so nice for me to see them and get out of the house! They of course loved Isabel and were sad to leave.

Wish I could say the same, Chelsea. Isabel looks like such a beautiful little bundle-- so tiny in her Grandpa's arms. Wish I were closer so I could offer babysitting services-- bring her to Nebraska and you can go out every night! Okay, traveling with little babies on airplanes, been there-done that.
