San Diego

2 weekends ago we took our first family vacation!  It went so well!  We met 2 of my sisters, and sister in law there.  We went to Seaworld on Friday, where we met up, and then that night we went to my sister's family camp site and had dinner there.  Isabel did really well on the drive to San Diego, though we got stuck in terrible traffic.  Took about an hour to go 2 miles, blah.  It was Comic Con weekend there so that didn't help.  Anyways, Saturday we went swimming before check out, and then headed over to Old Town for lunch, then drove home. 

Isabel did great at Seaworld.  I think she enjoyed it =)  I haven't been there since I was like 8, so it was fun to go back.  We only made the Shamu show, but walked around some of the exhibits which was neat.  Izzy's not one to fall asleep whenever wherever, but she did really well with napping on the go.  I was SO nervous about her in the hotel that night but we went to bed at 10:30, she woke to eat at 5am, then woke for the day at 8am!!! She's NEVER slept in that late, I was in heaven!!  I was very pleased with how our first vacation went.  We'll have to make sure to go on many more =)
