16 months

There are so many things I want to remember that Isabel is doing now- at a whooping 16 months.
She can sign book, all done, more, dog, eat, ball, car, swing, hat.  She knows where her eyes, eyebrows, ears, nose, mouth, feet, and belly button are.  She can gives kisses, blow kisses, give hugs, high fives, clap, and fold her arms.  The animal sounds she knows and can imitate are a sheep, cow, dog, cat, duck, gorilla (pounds her chest), bird, lion, and horse.  She will point to the right princess when you say their name.  She can say mickey and mini-  both sound like mimi, goofy, donald duck, pluto, mama, dada, yaya, papou, chloe - chlo chlo, linc - ninc, merrick - mer mer,  lilah - sounds similar to yaya, reagan - rae rae, stacy, baby, papa, car, more, cheese, hi, bye bye, night night, stars, dog, cat, hat - at, horse - hor, eye, stuck, duck, bubbles, uh-oh, and wow.

She has all her baby teeth in minus her 2 year molars.  She LOVES her blanket, calls it her night night.  I didn't want her get attached to her blanket for many reasons but since she sleeps with it there's not much I can do.  We do keep it in the crib so it stays clean and we don't loose it-heaven forbid that happens, I can't find another one anywhere!!  It is pretty cute when we put her in her crib and she gets so excited to see it.

I'm always so surprised when I ask her to specifically do something and she does it!  I'll ask her to go get her shoes out of the shoe box and bring them to me and she does it, or I'll tell her to pick something up and put it back and she does it.  She understands so much!  I still remember her as a newborn and baby so well I can't believe how fast time has flown.  She was a fussy little thing that would not nap longer than 30 minutes!  She's now such a happy little girl that takes awesome naps and sleeps through the night.  Back then I never thought the time would come ;)  We just love our Izzy!
