18 months

Can you believe Isabel is 18 months!?  I can't!  Her cousin Lilah was about 18 months when Isabel was born and I thought of her as a little girl!  So weird that Isabel IS a little girl and not a baby anymore.  Literally in a blink she grew up (although those newborn months felt like years!).  She is so much fun at this age.  I can mostly understand what she's saying and wanting but we still have some confusion here and there.  A lot of her words sound the same or like something else.  'dopy' sounds like 'thank you', 'aladdin' sound like 'yaya', 'grandma' sounds like 'gaga'- which is how she says 'goofy', and so on.  Some of her words are becoming more clear which is exciting.  She does say 'sit down' and sometimes 'hi dada' but that's about it for 2 words.  My favorite now is she says 'yea' and 'no' and she says them so cute.  It's nice to have her answer back when I ask a question.  She had her 18 month apt and is still in the 90% for height and 50% for weight and happy to say her head isn't off the chart anymore =).  I dread the doctors not only because of shots (she only hates them though because she hates laying down, I don't know if she even feels them.  The minute she can sit up she's fine) but she cries the entire time.  She freaks when the doctor even touches her.  Poor thing, its a traumatic experience, so glad we have 6 months til the next one.
My Mom asked me about Isabel and what she's like these days so thought I'd blog it for her.
.she loves her disney figurines and is always playing with them
.she likes disney movies but still has a very small attention span
.she now refuses to sit in shopping carts
.is still scared of stuffed cows
.makes her toys kiss and makes the kissing sound while they kiss
.entertains herself really well
.loves bike rides
.love bbq food
.likes to twirl
.loves her flip flops, doesn't like it when I put any other shoe on her
.has quite the mullet now, luckily since her hair is curly it isn't too bad
.LOVES to watch videos of babies
.loves getting chased
.calls her pacifiers 'baba' and her blanket 'night night'
.when she's tired she'll ask to go to sleep
.is scared of most guys with facial hair
.is a mama's girl
.is always talking.  She's rarely quiet.
.might be getting her 2 year molars :(
.still loves books
.loves cereal
.favorite food is probably fruit snacks
.belle is her favorite princess
.likes to make noises when she runs
.can use a fork, haven't tried a spoon yet
.says 'uh oh' a lot, especially around other people
.likes to walk on her tip toes
