Isabel at 2

I know I say this about everything with Isabel, but I can't believe she is 2!!!  Looking back 2 years ago it's amazing how much our lives have changed!  I was so naive going into the hospital that day.  I had no idea how hard parenthood would really be and I really had no idea how much I was gonna fall in love with this little baby.  I had a really hard time the first 4 months of her life trying to adjust to all the changes and trying to let go of my selfish lifestyle that I missed so much.  Fast forward 2 years later and I'm the happiest I've ever been.  Isabel has been such a blessing and joy in our lives.  We love her so much!  

Some things about Isabel at 2:

.she knows all her colors

.she started talking a ton within the last 2 months

.she knows most of her shapes

.she can count to 4

.she still loves her books and reading

.her favorite color is purple

.her favorite disney princess is belle

.she loves bike rides

.she loves salads and will eat exotic foods and other things that you wouldn't think a toddler would like

.two year molars are right on time ;)

.still sleeps awesomely in the crib, hallelujah!  Won't put her in a bed until I'm forced too.

.she's shy

.she's a total Mama's girl

.is doing great in nursery!

.loves her cousins

.plays so well by herself 

.still doesn't sit for an entire show or movie

.loves to have Daddy make her fly

.loves all things Disney

.has been to Disneyland 5 times 

.does not like to have her picture taken 'no cheese!'

.is obsessed with my iphone

.calls my phone 'e-i-e-i-o' but really fast
.went through a tantrum phase...she's on a mini break right now I guess;)

.has a weird thing for trees (she'll ask to go outside to see the trees and she'll hug them and climb on them.  She'll want to go around the neighborhood to see all the trees)

.thinks the word honey is hilarious but doesn't liked to be called honey

.loves to color

.is wanting to pick out her clothes and only wanting to wear disney

.loves slides

.calls herself 'baby'
.at 2 year check up is 35 3/4" tall, and 28 lbs (95%, 50%)
.talking more and more each day
.loves to be asked questions.  If we ask her a question she'll say 'more questions?'
.also likes to talk, she'll say 'more talk' haha
.is such a happy little girl

For her birthday we had family over and did cake and presents.  I was sure she was gonna cry at some point especially when we sang to her because she doesn't like much attention put on her but she was happy as ever the entire time!  She just loves when her cousins come over to play!!  I'm was also surprised at how well she was sharing all her toys.  She was actually happy they were playing with them.  She calls birthday cakes 'happy cake' and is still talking about her happy cake :)  She loved opening all her presents and of course wanted to open more.  She had such a great time!  Afterwards the men headed of to priesthood session for conference and us ladies and kids went to dinner.  A successful 2 year birthday!
