Day 2: Lavender fields, Strawberries, Castle, and Port Townsend

Wednesday started with us going to the Lavender fields. Sequim is known for it's Lavender Festival held the 18-21. I guess they ususally get about 30,000 people for the festival. The fields were really pretty but oddly enough, I couldn't smell the flowers. After that we headed to the strawberry fields to pick strawberries. It was pretty fun, never picked berries before. Then we decided to head for Port Townsend but stop at a castle here in town first. The castle was really neat, it's called Troll's Haven. Someone does own it so we weren't able to go inside. Lots of 'no tresspassing' signs. Then on to Port Townsend were we just walked around for a while by the shops and then headed home. A pretty full day!
